Open Question: what to do with the truck?

i want to get either a 1990's ford f150 or silverado 1500. i'm not sure whether to get a body lift or suspension. i probably will never drive off road, i just like it for the visual effect. will a suspension lift do the same thing as a body lift will? would it be better to just go with a body lift for cost reasons (i dont want to spend more than 1000-1500 on the lift kit, maybe 2000 max.)? please help!!!!!!!!...
